ವಿಶ್ವ ವಿದ್ಯಾಪೀಠ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿನೂತನವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ 'ಗಣಿತ ಮೇಳ'ವನ್ನು TACT (ದಿ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ ಅಕಾಡಮಿ ಆಫ್ ಸೈನ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು 525 ಸೀಡ್ ಟು ಸಾಷಿಂಗ್)

ಗಣಿತ ವಿಷಯದ ಮೇಲಿನ ಒಲವನ್ನು ಮೂಡಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಈ ಸುಂದರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, 'ಗಣಿತ ಮೇಳ'ದ ವಿವಿಧ ಆಯಾಮಗಳು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಉತ್ತಮವಾದ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.

ಗಣಿತ ಮೇಳವು ನಮ್ಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುವುದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಗಣಿತಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಜ್ಞರು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂವಾದ ನಡೆಸುವ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಬಿಂದುಗಳಾಗಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಪದ್ಮಶ್ರೀ ಎ.ಎಸ್.ಕಿರಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಇಸ್ರೋದ ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪದ್ಮಶ್ರೀ ರೋಹಿಣಿ ಗೋಡಬೋಲೆ, ಭಾರತೀಯ ಭೌತಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಜ್ಞರು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ತಜ್ಞರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಕಲಾವಿದರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಲಾ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಗಣಿತ, ಕಲೆ, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗಳ ಸಮನ್ವಯವನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಹೊಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಶೇಷವೆಂದರೆ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಸಹ ಗಣಿತ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ನಮ್ಮ ಮನವಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೃದಯಪೂರ್ವಕ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ತಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗಿ ಇದನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತೀರೆಂದು ನಂಬಿರುತ್ತೇವೆ.

Our school is hosting this event with the aim of developing a love for Math in all students in association with TACT (The Academy of Sciences) and S2S (Seed to Sapling). We believe that the unique aspects of this event will provide an excellent opportunity in all media platforms.

We are confident that the event will not only showcase the talents of our students but will also contribute positively to the community by the interactions with prominent mathematicians and scientists and hands on experience of learning Math. Our Chief Guest for the Inaugural event is Padma Shre AS Kiran

Kumar, former Chairman of ISRO and the Chief Guest for the closing ceremony is Padma Shri Rohini Godbole, Indian physicist and academician specialising in elementary particle physics. We also have many prominent artists who will be performing at the event and maang connections between Math and art, music, nature, games and literature. The support and coverage from you would play a crucial role in reaching a wider audience and making this event a success. This event will also include Government School children in and around Yelahanka
